This is another aquarium in the series. After the great success of the original OctoPanel 150 aquarium, it’s now time for a version with a sump. The aquarium was created in collaboration with aquarists and in response to numerous requests for a small, compact tank that is still large enough to maintain stable conditions more easily and allow for a more interesting selection of livestock.

In fact, it is a joint project of the Crazy Coral team together with our friends – especially ZenonaAqua – and our customers, aquarists who are building the Crazy Coral Family community with us.

Description:

The Octosumper 150 aquarium set is the perfect solution for both beginners and experienced aquarists. It is made from high-quality Optiwhite glass, ensuring clarity and aesthetics, while the black smoked bottom and black Lacobel back panel add the depth so important in reef aquariums. It’s the perfect background for colorful corals.

Inside the aquarium is an overflow box measuring 230 mm x 130 mm. The sump, perfectly matched in capacity to the set, includes a return pump chamber measuring 1400 mm x 1400 mm, as well as an integrated 10-liter ATO reservoir for user convenience.

The cabinet, finished with durable PVC veneer and equipped with doors opening on 160-degree hinges, provides an elegant finish to the whole setup and offers sufficient space for storing essential accessories.

1. Jebao/Jecod MDP 3500 Return Pump
A new-generation smart return pump with remote WiFi control – all you need is a smartphone and the free Jebao App.

Thanks to advanced technology, the pump provides precise control of water flow through the sump or filtration system, ensuring optimal conditions in the aquarium.

Users have access to 10 speed levels and a feeding mode – all controlled via the app or the included controller. The pump runs very quietly, is highly resistant to wear, and its compact design allows for both submersible and external operation. The set includes universal fittings suitable for different pipe diameters.

The Skylight Hyperbar lamp combines the advantages of classic HQI lamps, known for their high light output and striking shimmer effects, with T5 fluorescents, which evenly illuminated the aquarium and gave corals beautiful pastel colors.

3. Proprietary Biological Filtration Ceramic Media
A coral stand made of carefully selected fired clay.

Lightweight and highly porous, it enables colonization by symbiotic bacteria and supports biological filtration of the water.

Handcrafted, its structure is shaped to hold multiple corals while providing space for marine invertebrates and fish.

The flat back surface allows placement against the aquarium glass or connection to another ceramic piece.

It follows aquascaping principles, ideal for creating your own reef. No gluing required. Hitchhiker-free.

Before placing in the aquarium, rinse in RODI water with a phosphate absorber (RowaPhos) for approx. 72 h until phosphate levels read 0.

4. Turbelle Nanostream 6075 or Jebao/Jecod SW-2 Circulation Pump

5. Levelautomatic Milestone ATO
The Levelautomatic Milestone is a modern microprocessor-controlled device designed to top up evaporated water in aquariums with sump-based filtration.

It features two liquid level sensors: an optical one that activates refilling and a float switch for safety. The ATO can work with a DC pump or DC solenoid valve (the device is supplied with one of these components).
